Upcycling
The fashion industry is well known for its prodigious wastage and although it's great fun to go out and buy new fabric for every new make; one of the joys of sewing is that you can adapt and re-use old and existing clothes.
At the workroom we encourage the use of pre-loved garments, fabric from stashes and even household essentials such as duvets and curtains. Many of the items pictured on this website have been upcycled from these sources... and they look incredible!
The courses on this page are particularly designed for upcycling or making use of existing fabric from your stash. We can all do our bit to look fabulous!
