Booking Terms & Conditions

In the event of a cancellation payments are non-refundable, please refer to our detailed Cancellation Policy below
Early booking and immediate payment are recommended to avoid disappointment as places are limited.
Please do carefully check your dates before booking
Each course has a skill level shown on the website. If you do not meet the required skill level then you might not be able to complete the course successfully.
Please note we try to calculate how long a course will be and plan to finish each garment in the allocated time but this isn’t always possible, If you are unable to finish in the course time we will make sure you are confident with your garment to be finished at home or in a future ‘bitch and stich’ session. If you finish quicker than we expected there are always extras that you can add to your project.
Items made at our courses are intended for personal use only and not for commercial use.
Once your booking is complete you will receive an email confirmation from us.
What to Bring
The website indicates what materials are provided and which you will need to provide yourself. We will email you at the time of booking with a detailed list of materials needed, including suggested fabrics. We are not responsible for any issues encountered if you bring the wrong fabrics or amounts, however there is an excellent sewing shop next door where you can purchase replacements.
All equipment is provided. If you have your own sewing machine that you would prefer to use you are welcome to bring it along, but be aware that the tutor will not be able to problem-solve on your machine if you are not familiar with its use and trouble-shooting.
On your course
Please try and arrive on time. The door will normally open 15 mins before the start of the course. In peak summer there can be delays driving into Brixham and finding parking, so please allow ample time.
Respect your tutor and fellow classmates
Please put your phone on silent. If you need to take a call, please step out of the room to avoid disturbing others.
You are welcome to use our kitchen, and help yourself to teas and coffees. Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to use the kitchen, or pop to a nearby café or shop.
Pay & Display parking is available nearby at Brixham Central, Oxen Cove or Marina car parks. Please ensure you follow posted rules.
There is no smoking in The Workroom, and no pets are allowed.
